Camp Cadet fosters community responsibility

Each day, cadets witness the value of society, the friendship of fellow campers and counselors, and the benefits of building teamwork in the community-at-large. They experience, live and eat together, march together, learn together, and play together.

From morning roll-call to lights out, cadets share their day. Through the buddy system, the importance of safety and trust is instilled in all participants. Cadets are challenged by rigorous physical training, the discipline of close order drilling and the precision of marching in cadence. But from that discipline, competition and teamwork, come many rewards.

Cadets often learn that these principles and disciplines positively affect other aspects of their lives. Community responsibility is increased and family dynamics are enhanced.
