Cadets are trained by those who have come to live by regimentation – and who understand, appreciate, and respect its value. The cadets also learn about personal commitment and accountability. They learn it from the State Police personnel who direct the program and from their volunteer counselors who freely donate their personal vacation time to Camp Cadet. These special Camp Cadet staff members have a visible impact on the cadets and often become the catalyst to maturity that turns these teenagers into young adults.

Learning to respect themselves and authority go hand-in-hand. The personal integrity that comes with the Camp Cadet experience is a valuable tool for life long accountability and personal growth.
